Boot smooth, how much?

Hey folks,

thinking about getting my boot smoothed, by this i mean smoothing over the number plate, the vw badge and the boot handle so it looks something like this :

Anyone here had this done before? Or any idea of how much this would set me back?

I aint to sure about the smoothing part but the spraying I reckon could set you back anywhere between Â£30-Â£60. That sound about right guys? I had mine done but I had a total price including both bumpers so I'm just trying to work it out.

id say your speaking at least a good Â£250 if not more. prices vary hugely on where you live. for example, prices in london are alot more than up here in aberdeen. just phone around. places'll give you a rough price. remember you'll need a solenoid to pop the boot. That was gonna cost me Â£50 from an electrician at the garage but got it givin in the price cos they took a bit longer on my car than expected.

I've just seen on another post somewhere on here where someone has put the MK5 Golf handle on a lupo. It looks awesum IMO and I'd consider doing this if I was thinking of modding my boot. Its in the Club House Section under a topic called (ironically) something like is stealing peoples mods illegal, or something like that. Have a look.
