lol cheers dan! :D

I managed to pick the BMC up for £70 off a lad from club polo thats only been claimed to have done 5000 miles so im happy with that.

Heres my barry workmanship for now, i played with the piping that came with the bmc to the original in the wing but i could feel vibrations through my accelator pedal...

So i rescued abit of the ripspeed, and wrapped it in tape as temporary measure till i get my hands on some piping that im happy with!

My mate chucked me some samco hosing from his bros RS turbo 8)

Its pretty pathetic for now, if anyone wants to help me out and suggest some good piping to buy from any websites...then do share!

Thanks

It sounds facking beautiful!!

Its got such a nice rumble to it low down in the revs, then a great big "waaaaaap" sound after 4k rpm. :D

Ha yeah my exhaust annoyed the hell out of me on my mk4, its a shame that £150-£160 is such a rip off for the kit though

Get it up to around 4k revs in 2nd (on a clear stretch of road) and put your foot to the floor, and the sound is immense :D the last time I did this, a nearby pedestrian rubbernecked so quick (to see what all the ruckus was I guess) his head damn near fell off

Its hard to tell to be honest, i guess it feels more responsive low down...wether thats just a placebo affect though i'm not too sure.

EDIT: Si...i always do that and get the dirtiest of looks ever

My breather filter is connected with a plastic pipe from B&Q! The induction hits a spot on mine at around 4000rpm that is just growls :D

Yep, 4k rpm seems to be the sweet spot with the BMC! :)
