Wire to Battery from Amp (9n)

Any1 know the best way to get an amp power line from the battery in the engine bay to the footwell so i can feed it to the amp in the boot. Getting the wire to the boot is easy enough just getting to the engine bay internally is the tricky part.

Any help would be much appriciated

on my car i just cut a "U" shape into the footwell on the passenger side carpet... folded it down( like the lid on a can of dog food) and drilled a hole so i could put the wire throught and connect it to the batt

NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for fuk sake
there is no need to cut carpet,it will easily pull down if you unclip the side trim,as for getting the cable into engine bay,dont just drill a hole and put the cable though as this could chaff! and set fire to car NOT GOOD.

if your car has a/c look for grommet for drain located in passenger foot well,couple of inches down from glove box near centre console,remove this and make hole in this grommet and push wire though,bit of a job but ok,if your car hasnt got a/c then this grommet should still be there,have a look under bonnet on passenger side towards end of engine block just under half way down
