uprated speakers

was wondering what the difference is between the standard speakers in a mk5 and the uprated one. power?? quantity?? quality??

have a colour concept

mk5 with uprated speakers but unsure how they compare to standard mk5 ones.

i ask because im getting some ice soon (amp + sub) and wanted to know if its worth changing the door speakers?? or are they good enough

Well my standard ones kick ass tbh...If u set them up correctly they wont crackle at all !!

i have upgraded speakers in mine.. and to be honest, compared to alpine ones i have installed they are appauling. the sound quality at higher volume gets distorted after running them for less than a month

i replaced my "uprated" speakers with JBL ones and they have so much more punch

Sorry to hijack, but its along the same topic. Just got a MK5 Polo recently, and its a SE. Got speakers at the back but none at the front. Can anyone tell me what size the speakers are? Thinking of putting some Kenwoods or Alpines in there. Is the wiring already there or will I need to feed it through?
