whats the most power gains from a TDI ecu upgrade ?

realistic figures will be about 175-180 if you want the car to last a bit longer than one week ; )
Most tuners will probably quote 185bhp figures just to get the business but you will have to find an optimistic dyno to ever see this figure. Torque needs to be kept to around 280ftlb just to keep the clutch and flywheel happy too.

Where abouts are you located? I may be able to point you in the right direction?

doh, just seen your location in your sig.
I think you have plenty of Revo and upsolute dealers out there but I am not sure of the lay of the land.
Make sure the tuning was prepared with altitude in mind? It can be ignored by most as they do not consider where the tuning will be used? Upsolute would be more likely to remember this as they originate in Austria (mountains) wheras revo is UK based (not may mauntains to worry about really?)
