number plate legality please help

can anybody shed some light on this subject for me!

is it legal to have your front number plate in the front windscreen

as my dad reversed into my car today and smashed my plate

and cant get my hands on a new one today/!

answers would be muc appreciated!

AFAIK so long as it's diplayed clearly at the front of the Vehicle you should be fine.

Mine has ben on the dash for about 4 months

i was extatic as he has ripped the screw out of the bumper meaning the hole is massive and cant find a screw thick enough to catch on it

and he smashed my brand new plates that i had gone to so much trouble to get

so apart from that its ok!

imagine if id done that to his car!

im now running the original plates as the holes are different and they look poo!

As long as it's temporary til you get a new one, and you pass the attitude test if pulled over, should be fine.
