CL breadvan...what grille would it have had?

my f reg 1300 CL breadvan has a red edge 4 lamp grille...would it have came with that when new?

thinking of blacking the stripe out

so the red edge didnt mean gt or sport or whatever the high spec ones were

The colour of the stripe usually just depended on the colour of the car. There are lots of CL's about with red stripes as well as with chrome stripes, don't think it makes any difference

Normally, it's silver on a CL. I think red ones came with red stripes though. If you fancy a straight swap, I've got a silver one and want a red one.

i had a plain ol black twin lamp on my f reg cl its a single lamp now
