i live in ashbourne derbyshire and have lost my car key for my 6n2. i have been told that it is going to be really expensive to get fixed. i don't have any spares, so car is sat locked on drive way and i now have to get the bus!! does anyone have any ideas of where i should go, who i should call and how to solve this problem without it costing me a fortune? any help really appreciated!!

When i worked for daewoo we used to use them all the time. You could buy a genuine daewoo key already cut to your car for less than I could buy a blank from daewoo!
They keep vw blanks in stock. You'd need to give them your key code. You should be able to get this from vw by giving them your reg, but they might charge you.
You'd then have to code the key to your car, i'm sure there's a guide somewhere on here on how to do this.
