Where can i get a multi changer for a Polo mkV ?

Post by Black Beast »

Hi please be gentle it's my forst post, and this may have been asked a few times already but the search threw up like hundreds of related topics.

I take it if i can source one then it is easy to install ?

Again sorry if this is a frequent question, this seems a very big place to be right now :?

It's a 2001 Polo with standard cassette/radio head unit, and i want to upgrade it to have either a single or multi CD player.

I'm not that technical when it comes to ICE (you may have noticed already)

Any help is appreciated

correct me if I'm wrong but I think you have a MK V. Well there are CD changers available, but you may find its cheaper and more effective to just buy a new head-unit. Check out www.mcs-direct.co.uk

cheers

If you want to keep your OE HU then I think you can either get a VW Dash changer or go for something like a Sony changer in the boot. You can buy adapters to make these work with the standard headunit.

Hope this helps.

Think i'll go for a new head unit instead, and the Blaupunkt is looking like the best choice right now.

I just don't know if i need to get an aerial adaptor, or power lead adaptor - any idea if i need these for the Polo ?
