That looks really smart mate, impressive work with fitting the Xenons etc :D

I'm not usually a fan of 5-doors, but that does look very good, especially in that colour.

If only they made the GTI's in that colour I think I would opted for that than the black, it's a bloody good job, like the 16" RXIIs (hee hee!).

What do you think of the Dunlops? Are they any good, I opted for the Pirelli P Zeros and they have lasted a while now with still good tread left...

Chris, I went for the Dunlop SP 9000's on my RXIIs, and I'm not entirely sure what to make of them.

They're not bad, but on the limit I don't have a huge deal of confidence in them. Plus I had a rather evil aquaplaning incident with them a couple of weeks back

You are supposed to have headlight washers with Xenons, correct Dan.

I think every car with Xenons as standard has headlight washers.

the dunlops made a huge difference from the previous avons i was running on, alot more grip and hard wearing.. a near miss incident on the M11/M25 junction forced the change of tyres, lost grip pushing 70 round the bend :? no probs now tho!

as for the xenon/washer myth, i just came across that post in the forum today... just got my MOT 3 weeks ago with the xenons on, passed it too although they did say the beams were abit high

urm.. the car with the roof racks is not mine mate but since we're on the topic i think roof racks are very cool 8) i might get some myself, in fact i probably should, i use my polo like a donkey! had all sorts in it... whole rear axle for peugeot 206, golf mk4 bonnet, mk6 polo front bumper!?

by the way thanks for all the comments fellaz, makes all the effort worthwhile! I'm surprised that you like the colour, i was actually contemplating changing it, maybe something like the new polo gti candy white?? :?

Prices from VAG Parts

Head lights are £132.50 each +vat this includes bulbs but no ballast units.

Ballast unit £178.37 each +vat

Which gives you a grand total of £730.54 :D

No way, I certainly wouldn't change the colour!

Mine's this colour too. Excuse my ignorance, but what's this colour officially known as?
