A 1.2 Mk5 does not exist.

If it looked like this:

then it is not a 1.2.

hehe today some dude in a mk4 1.6GL thought he'd show off to his girlfriend in the passenger seat by overtaking me on this steep hill going out of aberdeen, its still a 30 zone til a bit up but he overtook me still in the 30 zone.

my car is debadged so he wouldnt know what model it was...

after the 30 zone i left him for dust

i was pleasantly surprised how much faster my car was than his 1.6 hehe

BMC should arrive tomorrow to add a bhp or two :P

My 1.0E is bloody nippy to be honest.
it hits over the 100 mark alot and ticks over at 80
fast enough for me, for the time being!

the slowness is starting to make me hate my polo! My first car was a 1.8 16v and the 75bhp engine is sooooo slow... NEED MORE POWER.. it's really embarassing seeing 1.2 16v Clio's loaded with people keeping up

firstly let me say.......... GO LOUD!!!!! great timing by me about when u said about the guy overtaking u. wat u should of done is when he went to overtake u, wait till hes right next to u then put ur foot down and speed of, that would make him feel small and stupid. some guy i used to know did that to me many times. i have a 6n2 1 litre and he has the gti model and he knew he could beat me so when we were going along the dual carriageway hed wait till i was next to him then he undertake me and shoot of into the distance then slow down for me to do it again. was a bit of fun. i know i couldnt keep up with him and so did he. when i first got my one litre i was dissapointed at the engine size, but looked on the bright side. cheaper to run. when i started driving it i was quite impressed with its power as i thought for a 1 litre its pretty fast. picks up speed nicely and even my sister thought it was a 1.2 or 1.4 loads of people ask if its a 1.2 or 1.1 and theyre surprised when they find out its a one. well that was 3 years in january i got the car so now the speed is becoming more slow and im gonna look for a gti polo i think. still like my polo tho. it gets attention.
