urgent help with cd player please

ok so i just bought a cd player for my car, as i only had the standard cassette player before.
all this cd player comes with is itself and the black wire that is built into the back.
so what do i do now?
i need an illumination lead dont i but i will probably wait for that.
so what now? how does it all go in and stuff lol.

ok so i worked it all out and fitted it, but as per usual with ebay, it dont work

so if any of you are planning on buying a cd player from ebay make sure its not the 1 im selling you bid on cuz i doubt the piece of crap will work for you either!

where would that be?
im completely useless so if i plug it in and it dont work its going back lol.
if you or any1 else can gimme any tips for things to check i'd be GREATLY thankful

at first mine didnt work but i messed around with the power leads and now it does. i tryed doin positive to negative and now it works

hmmm how do i do all that positive to negative then??
mine just has one lead, the power lead.
it plugs straight into the back of the cassette in the only slot that it will fit.
well i took the whole thing apart and found the main power track had a tiny short in the middle of the circuit board.
so i soldered it back together and plugged it back in and it turned on fine

but now it just doesnt take any cd's. the mechanism must be broke somehow cuz the cd's just wont go in.
so i cant be arsed with it any more and its definately going back on ebay.
