i shouldn think it would but im not 100% sure
i just used a hir dyer and lots of polish etc to get mine to the state its in in my opinion it makes a huge difference

if your thining of little low cost mods such as that id have a go at colour coding your rear vw badge never seen it on a red polo and would look especially good if u also sprayed the abdge black!

It looks awesome m8! (Don't you just love reflex silver?) I think it really suits the MK5. How did you 'red line' your grille by the way? And is that a standard Honda aerial?

i did the red line with special styling tape not bad for tape hey?

and yes its a standard aerial but its my second as my first one got snapped off in a car wash cos im a nooob and didn take it off!

but it is totally standard i swapped it off my grandmas honda civic!

Does she know? :D
The tape looks very professional I have to say. I've recently bought & fitted the GTi grille, so I'm tempted to try it, but I doubt if I'll do it as well as you.

no she hasn got a clue she has had the other one on for ages!

it is a really easy job to do aslong as you take your time over it and stretch the tape round the corners so you dnt get any creases!

the only thing holding u back is the tape is now unavailable i was lucky enough to manage to source some off a very kind person on a different forum but we cant be all be so lucky! so id say good luck to you on the tape hunt!

OK - Thanks for that; I'll have to have a hunt around (Google perhaps) to see if I can get anything suitable.

i know the springs have settled really nicely but sometimes it can look quite high :(

i thought about getting coilovers for her but there really is no point shelling the money out now im away for a year and not driving it.

Also because i plan to sell my 6N2 next summer and upgrade to sumthing with more than twice the power! :D
