Advice With ReMIT Assessment

Post by Ollie_R »

Hi all, I know this is a bit of a long shot, but here goes. I'm due to go to an assessment for a ReMIT apprenticeship on the 9th at the Croydon centre at Imperial way.

I've done the initial assessment, which was a piece of p***, but I'm not sure about what the assessment involves, and how I should go about it.

Any help would be appreciated loads.

I've done it

From what I can remember it was the same as the one I did beforehand, in other words it's a piece of p***

I've also done all of the assesments, found them easy peasy!

Only problem was Remit never actually got off thier arse to find me a job

Haha, thanks for the quick feedback. I'm looking forward to the 9th now, it should be fairly enlightening :D

They will never find you a job, you just gotta go out and find one yourself. Don't bother waiting for them.

So have you got a placement yet Ollie?

Nope, not yet. I'm still in the initial stages at the moment, I hope to start the apprenticeship soon. I have an assessment and interview to do next Monday, and all the health and safety stuff to go through.

It is when they were the company responsible for Vw Tech recruitment

Waited ages, passed from one company to another (Emtec then Remit) without being told! Gave up trying with them once i got my current job

Just an update. I got a letter this morning from Carter & Carter apprentice learning, who I took the assessment test with, saying my Assessment date at the Imperial Way centre has been cancelled, and saying that they have changed the way that the assessment of applicants is being changed, and telling me to apply online and do this p***-easy test, which I've done already. I assume I'll have to wait for the results now. At least I have Monday off, and I don't have to drive through Croydon rush-hour traffic

Apologies for long-windedness, but I feel like I'm being mucked around. I've had enough of being out of work or education.
