I mentioned previously he was also bidding on them

He needs a set, as he damaged one wheel a while back, IIRC.

And I doubt he is bidding on them to spite you, he seems good bloke.

Are they that important that you need to have them now?

Having met Chris at last years VW Festival, I would personally vouch for the fact he is a very sound bloke and has been involved with this forum for a long time.

These wheels are rare, and dont come up for sale at such a cheap price very often. If you want them that badly, you pays your money. Otherwise you sit back and wait for the next time.

Also, you posted the link at 1:32 pm and his bid was put on at 12:36 pm :D

We're all sound guys on here mate 8)

As mentioned BBS RXII's are hard to come by in both 15 and 16, chances are he's been looking on E-Bay for a while.

does cyhliu still need a just one of the RXII's? found some guy ebay selling two singles if he's interested??

I've had no real problems with the spacers really. Just a lot of rubbing :D
If you go with hubcentric spacers, I don't think they'll shag the bearings. It's only with the pikey universal fit ones you get problems with the bearings. 20mm sounds like a good call. You will need longer bolts, but they're usually supplied with the H&R and Eibach kits, which are, in my opinion the best you can get.
samil87 wrote: how much did the spacers set you back?

cheers for that ollie. might just space the back ones out about 10mm and the front 20mm. The back tyre is quite close to the arch and i'm prob sittin slightly lower than the tyre. Don't get any scrubbing at all whatsoever tho, and thats with 4 in the car  i think the fronts need a bit more beef. Certainly not a priority mod at the moment tho.
The ones I have cost £60 a pair. It really depends on how wide you want them, to be honest.
