Removing Side Strips from Polo6N

Post by Paintdeep »

Hey,
I really wanna remove the side strips from my mk4 but just wanted to check that they aren't tacked or bolted on at all before i start using a hairdryer. Can I just do them the same way I debadged?
Please help me!!

Hi Paintdeep, and welcome to the forum.

The following was taken from the FAQ:
Removing the rubstrips

The Mk4 rubstrips are glued on. This means they come off much the same way the rear badge does. Keep in mind that there could be some difference in color due to the influence of the sun. There are no holes behind the rubstrips. This is NOT the case for the facelifted Mk5 - beware.
Hope that helps!

The Mk4 FAQ is located at the top of the forum section.
