Eibach Lowering Springs Vw Polo (9N) 1.2,

Post by LowPoloCo. »

Hey guys,

I want to do something a bit more interesting to my 9N, and i thought i might get it lowered.

http://www.suspensionshop.co.uk/p1285911.htm

I was looking at these eibachs, and just wondered, will i need new shocks for my 1.2 9N? or will the standards be ok?

Cheers, Ell

Ive got eibach sportlines on my 9n which lower it 50mm at the front and 35mm at the rear. They're fine with the standard shocks, although apparently the stock shocks will wear out faster with shorter springs as there is more pressure on them. Ive had mine about 4/5 months with no probs but when funds allow i will upgrade to coilovers which replace the shocks and springs and have adjustable ride hight so i can lower more :D
