Faded Paintwork

Im having a little trouble with my quarter panel on my Gt.

The problem is that it was sprayed in 97 and since then I think its be left to fend for its self

The rest of the car is nice and red but the quarter panel keeps reverting to a shade of pink after polishing it.

Any products or processes I can use to prevent or stop this happening??
