i noticed that my rear wiper washer nozzle is facing down and also nothing comes out. i tried to turn it around but nothing....anyone have any ideas on both problems?
could try putting a pin down it and also checking in the engine area that it is connected up because sometimes they have been disconnected (prolly cos there broke)
thanks - i did try the pin and i got air bubles coming through but then nothing. could it still be the connection and if so where abouts is it in the engine bay
Yeah, so have I, so annoying, thought it could have been disconnected at the back but removing the panel shows that everything is still attached as it should! Will check the connectors at the tank tho... no one else got a fix? (other than to replace the rear wash wipe motor?).
i couldn't get into the bottom of the tank so couldn't see if
it was connected there, but i poked about with the nozzel
and nothing happened at all. i might just get it blanked off.
trace the plastic tube from the wiper all the way through the car... its not one continuous tube... it is connected together in various places along the tube.
I found mine was disconnected under the plastic panel under the rear seat on the right hand side, was a right pain to get all this up but found were it had came out!
Also... If you can hear the jet noise from the engine bay when your trying to wash the rear screen but nothing is coming out then STOP...
The water is going somewhere! Like I found out, it had been leaking out behind my rear seats!
i know this may not be relevent but on my old fiesta i had a kinda the same problem. Do the front jets work? if not then there could be something blocking the bottom of the bottle. Normally washingup liquid causes this.
