not starting?

my 1.2 wouldnt start when i got up this morning. it is just spinning over and not firing
anyone ever had this problem before or know how to sort it?

Could be a immobiliser issue. Have you tried starting it with your spare key?

checked the plugs and capacitors and theyre all fine.
plugs are sparking when theyre in the capacitors too
petrol is not going in at the correct pressure so were thinking the fuel pump or the relay?
its just a right pain in the arse as we dont have a proper diagnostic machine :evil:

anyone had a similar problem in the past?

turned out to the the somthing to do with the cams.
the chain had slipped :? gunna cost a fortune to fix :(

cant afford the 1.8 for a while. another few years of study to come


but vw are fixing the problem no questions asked! apparently they have given an extra year on the warrently for this fault.
the timing chain has slipped i think
