Temperature gauge!!

Post by danny_boy »

while driving a little while ago my temp gauge went up 2 halfway as always, but then i looked at it about 10 mins later an it was rite down to zero! it stayed ther for about 20 mins an when i got home i had another look and it was back at the normal place agen!
what does this mean? is it just a faulty gauge or could it be somthing more?

yep same happened to me, its a faulty temperature sender/sensor!
i think it will cost a bit more than £50, coz u have to add parts and labour, i can't remember how much it was for me!
