GTI Owner from Oz

G'day all. Thought I'd share some pics of my MY06 Polo GTI and a few adventures I've had.

Back in 2005 I was all prepared to buy a new Cooper S, things changed; for the better worse who cares. The GTI is an awesome car.

Me tackling the top of Mt Panorama, coming down from the mountain onto Conrod Straight

Wakefield Park, about 2 hours south of Sydney
I hit top speed of about 160km/h down the straight.

Thanks Mouse. I'm very very happy with it. It's washed most weekends, and looks incredibly white when it's finished.

White is definantly the coolest colour for the new GTi!

Good to see another Oz member on the forum Floody.
Your car looks really great. I would have had white if I wasn't able to get my black GTI.
Love the track pics at 'the mountain'.

Yeh well the tex is s**t for Polo specific info. Good for a laugh though.

Yeh they are hotness

I'm thinking it would look sweet with the Black wheels from the 30th Anniversary Golf GTI
