Brake Pad low Indicator

When I turn my car on, there is many lights that turn on the dash and go out as normal. In this I have had the Brake pad warning indicator light doing the same and then it goes away with the others.

Funnily enough Ive never seen this light lightup before on my 9N.

Tbh I never thought I had this feature. Therefore could this be that my pads are running low? note its not constantly on, it goes away straightaway with the others.

If not, does this mean that my car has brake pad low indicators due to the light existing and lighting up at start-up?

um i think thats normal..mine does that. its a start up 'check' , just like that emissions lamp

i'd like to think the 9n would have it! my g/fs old Pug 106 (K reg) had it (which suprised me)!!

Ah right, thought it never had it. But mines not the basic S specced ones so was wondering why i thought it never had it.
