8v foglamps - maybe one for Phil6n or Dragon Green?

Hi Guys,

I managed to get hold some of the rarest of the rare: 8v Mk4 Foglamps

I got:

2x Foglamps
1x Combined headlamp switch
1x wiring loom
1x 1 piece foglamp grill surround

From a previous post I know how to get the bumper bits off to mount the actual lamps but have got stuck after looking at the loom.

The wiring loom I bought from the scrappy has:-
2x 2pin socket (black)
2x 2pin socket (white)
2x 4pin socket (black)
1x A huge multipined round black plug

I think the black 2pin sockets attach to the back of the foglamps but as for the rest I haven't got a clue as I didn't remove the kit myself I was just lucky ringing a scrappy who had a set in stock.

Any ideas?

i cant remember off the top of my head but, il have a look tomorrow, as my car is up on axle stands, doing the clutch, what a pain!

Cheers Phil, much appreciated. At least you know what you're doing with the clutch etc. my next expenditure is my cambelt service which is going to cost a bit ...but at least I got some fogs

I had a kit from VW when i bought and fitted mine, if i get chance ill have a look and try and scan the instructions.

I think the scrappy may have given me the whole loom to include fogs, indicators and headlamp adjusters, but I'm still not too sure.
