Installing the official VW iPod kit into a 9n???

Post by mikehowett »

Hey guys, need some help here as i can't figure this out. I removed the CD changer from the headunit and plugged the new cable into the headunit but it says it ¨NO CD CHANGER¨ when I try it. There is another wire to connect that was going in to the CD changer but i'm not sure where and how it connects to the iPod interface cable. The instructions are pretty useless too :(

Has anybody done this themselves? Any help appreciated!

Thanks in ad!

Not really much to see, i've got the ipod cable just hanging out the bit above the passenger foot well at the moment. Will be taking the glovebox out on Friday and getting it fitted in there. Got dark so couldn't do any more, plus i don't know how to remove the glovebox :P

Did think about putting it in the cubby box, but that's a right pain to get out!

Oh yeh, whilst I remember, I have to say Dino, your car is absolutely beautiful, really good example of what hard work can achieve! Top notch work! :D
