steering gayness?? arb moving?

Post by steveo3002 »

my 1300 breadvan goes a bit gay if i take a bend fairly quick all of a sudden the steering feel light like i have hit ice , if i slow of a little it feels normal again

ive read about the arb moving on these cars , does that sound like a symtom of that??

or am i being too hard on it..i dont really drive that fast in it at all

polos generally have AWFUL handling

what size tyres do you have on there as my mk2 improved no-end after i got some 185 width tyres as oposed to my original 145's, even slid driving ridiculusly slow in the wet on those wheels

you can also do the ARB mounts on the front with uprated blocks.

tbh i've only had, neither, just the wheels or on my G40 it has the wider tyres AND the ARB blocks so hard to say how much the blocks would do on their own...but for sure the tyres definetly help, felt like a different car :D

or if all else fails, maybe show your polo some playboy mags, might cure it's gayness
