Help!!!

I have a 1.4 X reg Match Polo and the central locking is playing up i wonder if anyone can help. When i lock and unlock my car from outside with the key in the drivers side door the front windows wind down. This is very annoying, i have taken off the trim and had a look and there is nothing obvious. please help!!!

lol m8 thats normally. Its pretty gd as it puts ur windows up the other way if u forget to stick them up while ur inside.

hey, do you mean that when key is in lock that window goes down without turning the key?
if this is the case sounds like the spring and castle washer has failed in barrel, the part is cheap to buy but it takes patience to fit, best to remove door handle no need to remove inside door panel,
open door and find torx head screw level with outside handle remove this,push door handle towards front of car and pull out,bit tricky but when u no how its easy to do,
go to nearest vw garage and get part usually in stock,and get diagram of how it all fits together,best to use a vice to hold handle and keep key in lock to stop it all falling aprt when fitting new part,
anymore help needed please ask

unfortunately thats not it because you have to turn the key before the windows will wind down.
