I just browsed onto this site:

which seems to have a very useful troubleshooting and problem solving section. I've been experiencing rattles from my gearbox when in neutral (they go when the clutch is pressed down) and I guess it's either a low level or the layshaft bearings gone.

Don't know if there is a section on the forum that contains useful websites? Couldn't find one, so I posted it here.
