hmm thought about that, but i didnt think it would look the best . next step is some nice fox racing alloys 15s of course just not sure of whether i have to and if i have to, how far i will need to drop the suspension. They are 195/45 tyres if thats any help to anyone calculating it

195/45/15 tyres are the norm for 15" alloys and is what the GTi rides on as standard. Drop the car 60mm and you'll be laughing

no it doesnt have to go down that far its just that it looks good at 60mm looks good at 50 to tho, anything less than that the wheel seems quite away from the arch.

Depends what you use your car for.
It may compromise how much you can put in ur car with a 60mm drop for example.

And this forum likes cars very low, personally i think 30mm drop looks fine, admittedly not as good as a 50 or 60 drop but it wont affect how u use ur car.

Anyway, its all up to you in end,

I scraped something over the speedbump on the way into work this morning at -60mm so when I went back out I took it at about a 15° angle and all was good
