gear problems

i have a 1.4 se tdi polo 2000 i have problems engaging 3rd up shift and on a down shift 2nd and 3rd has anyone got any ideas i have tried new linkage and new oil in the gearbox the cables are all in allign too ant clues please will be very grateful at my wits end

Could be the bearings? Mine is rather sticky on 3rd, but i just try to not notice it.

when my gears wer playin up within about a week the gearbox smashed the fuk out of itself lol.
cud b the bearings like mine was.
got a 2nd hand gearbox and its still a bit funky findin 1st so im just ignorin it and not thinkin bout it lol.

cheers guys im thinking about getting a second hand gearbox need it sorted its doing my box in

excuse the pun but want to be sure its not theclutch but it woodn be that wood it coz it works tidy in other gears
