Overseas buying

Post by Polo_87 »

Been looking around the german ebay and seen the amount of stuff they've got for the polo! Interested in some stuff as some of the stuff is cheaper than most prices on the uk ebay.
I wanted to know whether anyone has bought any stuff from the site and whats it like. does stuff arrive on time, in good codition, etc etc. Cheers. 8)

German eBay is has always been good for finding rare items like wheels, or parts.

Before you commit to buy the item, you should ask them if they will send to the UK, and if they speak English. Use a translator like BabelFish to translate your emails to German. Even if the translations do come out a bit dodgy :?

A lot of people in Germany speak some English, and this would make the situation much easier.

From the examples of people I've seen buy from German ebayers, the majority have been happy with the service. I recieved my suspension kit from Germany, and they arrived at my door within 3 days.
