Dash at night

Post by Clawz »

Well, I finally got fed up of having to look at cables coming out of my radio or tape adaptors and spent a little bit of money on an ipod.

A friend of mine had one and after a little measuring it seemed to fit perfectly into the little cubbyhole behind the ashtray... I set about with a small drill to the rubber and plastic back... after a little bit of fiddling the dock that comes with the iPod fit quite nicely with the cables running behind the dash and into the AUX in on my radio.

Here's the finished result.. it doesn't look bad at night at all :P Might even go as far as saying it's better than the VW iPod kit :P though it's maybe not quite so accesible:

Ahh, another member with an iPod!

Mine lives in the cubby under the steering wheel, with a concealed 3.5mm plug hidden in there too... This snakes it's way behind the dash and goes to the Aux-In on my EQ.

I've had mine for about a year now and I love it!

Did you read my little post in the main section about giving away a free Need for Speed Underground game?

Yeah, that's the main reason that I got it! Well... that and the fact that it has two Aux input ports & one out

It's the Blaupunkt Daytona MP53 MP3/CD player :)
