BLACK GRILL BADGE

Post by nafeGTI »

Can someone please detail the easiest way to spray the front badge black, what products were used etc, thing i'll give it a go this weekend.

I guees remove the grill, then badge, rub down with fine paper, apply primmer then matt black spray? or maybe not!!

and has anyone here got a black 6n2 with black badge on the rear, if so any pictures? not sure whether the back would be too black!!

Black badge on black car looks wicked imo!

I sanded mine down with wet 'n dry, then 2 coats primer & 3-4 of Satin black spray, still lookin' good :)

Black on black looks good, black on any other colour looks best with the background plastic part colour coded to the car.

And FYI - The front black badge from vw is now obselete so you have to do it yourself really. The back one you can buy, which is what I did.
