I do want to take the side strips off but knowing my luck some careless person will open the car door straight into it, so id rather just have silver ones..

Think im gonna buy a grill of the bay now 8)
lower it an more than 60mm mate and ur bump strips become useless anyways.... cos the other door will go above it
Ahh never thought of that..Fair do's

i used a hair dryer and some cotton reel to ''saw'' through the sticky stuff,,,then just used glue remover and soapy water for the crap left behind..Go steady though as ive heard all kinds of horror tales of peeling laque/paint and rust under them,,,not that i wanna put you off doing though

its probably the one thing I never really tried to fix up clean/paint wise. I might try some spirits actually!

Incidently theres some 16v lights apparently on ebay

(hope this link doesnt make the page go massive)

but like one of them seems to not have the black lines on so I dont think Ill be bidding :) They look a lot darker on the car I see? or maybe thats just me

Apparently he is selling them for a friend who swears there meant to be like and off an SE. Quite hard to find a pic of an SE but i did on ebay and they seem different.

Incidently rubber 12 I today got out some meths for some sniffing fun! not really, but for cleaning that darn mud flap! I used an old toothbrush as well and scrubbed away at it and it did indeed all come off and now its nice and clean. So im happy and Im sure the mud flap is happy :P
