Main Dealers Rip Off

Post by LiverpoloGTi »

I have recently bought a set of eibach sportline springs from ticki (thanks mate!). I rang around a few places getting quotes for fitting them. Most quoted me between £140-160. I thought i'd give VW a chance and rang the local main dealer who quoted me £314
I eventually found a garage just round the corner from my house that will do it for £94. :D

How the hell can the VW dealers justify their prices?

Yup, so long as you have access to spring compressors, half a days job.

I would have loved to have done this myself but im new to modding and haven't even bought axle stands! (yet). And the thought of waiting till I get stands and compressors doesnt bear thinking about. Its bad enough having to wait until friday to get them fitted.
