Light with 'Check' Underneath

Can anyone tell me what this light is/means? It came on when I was driving lastnight.

Is it serious or is there something I can do to resolve it?

Does it happen to have a slouette of an engine above it? if so then its your engine management light, need to get it looked at

Engine Management Light.
Definately not a good sign, get it to your dealer/garage quickly.

yeah if i were you i'd get it checked out, have you noticed any strange behaviour from the car?
