i have a 6n2 silver to but mines a 1 litre. the grill i have on mine is http://racerheaven.co.uk/acatalog/Accessories6n2.html the polo gt/st mesh grill the 9th one down. a closer view of it is the 4th one down. when i brought it i got the little bit that fills in the bonnet hole to along with the fixing screws and glue came with them. im happy with my grill and loads of others like it to. infact here's a pic of it on my car to..........

Badgeless is nice but it wont look right if u dont get the insert smoothed in unless ur cars black inwhich u never seen the insert. I think the gti with silver badge would be nice. Not a fan off the black badges tbh....think they are a little chav  :D

I'd have to comlpetely disagree with that, I don't think they're chavvy in the slightest.

just for the record, when i get the chance, i might smooth in the little bit that goes on the bonnet. otherwise im hoping to get a bad boy extension and get it welded on and painted.

i dont think theyre chav, however i think everyone goes on about them to much so theyre becoming a bit boring now. its like the lexus lights, when they first came out everyone liked them now everyones seen them no one cares anymore so i reckon it'll be the same with the black vw badge. plus if u got an aftermarket grill if u got bored with it u could put ur standard grill back on and spray the vw badge so u have the choice. i prefer the badgeless grill as then i dont have a badge at all so its "smoother" at the front and looks more different then just a black vw.

badgless look nice but the boonet filler may look silly to some ppl. although i used a filler for the bonnet and its not very noticeable (probably bcoz my cars black)

try to avoid getting the gap welded in because if you weld it in, then you have to leave that grill on. you wont be able to switch back to your orignal grill nor the gti grill because they both overlap onto the bonnet.
