Wheels - I'm so indecisive!!!

Post by Bryony84 »

Ok, I'm really indecisive and unsure what would look good on my GTI so I thought I'd see what everyone thinks. Keen to get some new wheels so I can get my bbs refurbed, these are my options:

Phils Huhrer's or something that looks similar if someone beats me to it:

ACT wheels

RH Cups

Anyway, opinions in the poll or comments please, thanks for helping!!!

I love the way the Huhrers work with Phil's red Polo so they'd be my choice if I had a red GTi. The ASAs look good too but I'm not very keen on the RH Cups when they're mated to GTis, just not my cup of tea :?

Right, well we can definitely rule out the RH cups - they were the only ones I wasn't sure about to start with.

ACT's closely followed by the Huhrer's. Those RH Cups would look better on a Mk3

ASA for me but I think the RH Cups will look good on the older 6N. plus that photo does not do them much justice from that angle.

They would all be 15 inch except the huhrers which are 16s i think.

Only just noticed the ASA's are 5 stud myself, had the pic for ages cos I saw them and liked them, will have to see if they do 4 stud.

I know it is my wheels in question here, so they are my favorites, jsut because i feel it works well with the theme and look of my car, but i have to say those ACT's look schweet!!

The ASA's are nice, but are supposedly meant to be quite decieving from there pic. They supposedly have a very small dish when it comes to 15's. The ASA pictured above will most likely be 18's to emphasise the dish. Just what i'v heard anyways.

I'd go for the Huhrers, my second choice would be the ACT's. I personally think the RH cups would look so naff on a GTi & the ASA wheels would don't really do it for me.
