So I pull up in the Halfords carpark...

Post by dub envy »

...and the row nearest the shop there are 5 or 6 cars all parked at an angle taking up more than 5 more spaces than they actually need.

Now don't get me wrong, I used to do this in my Golf, and if they were nice cars I'd let them get on with it..... but.... There was 1 standard saxo westcoast, 3 or other s**t standard cars, and at the end there is a maroon mk5 escort. Standard. A bit battered. And not needing to be parked like that.

My window was open, and I must have sighed or something as I was looking at all these s**t cars takin up all the room as I parked on the other side of the bays.

As I'm doing up my window I heard someone shouting. Then I saw they were shuting at me. Some fat prick. Turns ut he was the owner of the mk5 'scort.

So this is something along the lines of the 'conversation'..............

him: You got a f*****g problem??
me: what?
him: You got a f*****g problem??
me: you what mate?
him: You got a f*****g problem??
me: with what?
him: You got a f*****g problem??
me: no....
him: You said why was I parked like that??
me: no I didnt.
him: You got a f*****g problem??
me: I didnt say nothing.
him: You got a f*****g problem??
me: what you talking about??
him: You got a f*****g problem??
him: You got a f*****g problem??
him: Do you want a f*****g row about it??? *as he starts taking off his coat:
me: not really.
him: You got a f*****g problem??
me: ......
him: shut the f**k up then.

These neanderthal people do seem to have a habit of finding me.

I mean, how intelligent is this person?? He parks his s**t beat up piece of crap diagonally across 3 spaces not to avoid carpark dings in his doors, but purely for the fact that someone might come in, look at the car a lil funny, and him want to start a fight.

The fact that my mate was actually parked behind my van by now watching, and the pair of us could have torn him a new arsehole didnt seem to put him off...

some people need a new prescription of happy pills.

Makes me wonder.

Oh yeah, and sat in his car was his bird and two little kids in the backseat. Fine example to be setting your kids.

What the f**k.

that is all.

I love that bit!

At the same time, I'm developing a theory that touches on the demise of the masses' intelligence due to prolonged exposure to television, colour additives in food, and inbreeding.

Seriously, the world is a strange place.

Seriously, England is a strange place.

I properly HATE people like that... Just fixing for a fight. Bully. Dropped on their head/abused as a kid. Low self esteem. Show-Off. Unintelegent. Poor performer. They're all over the place in this country :(

Fair enough, if he didn't act like such a prat you could forgive him... It's probable that the escort is the best car he can afford (that's not a diss, not everyone can afford nice cars) and having a crap car doesn't mean that you shouldn't give a toss about it...

HOWEVER: This guy sounds like he needs a serious dose of either Prozacâ„¢ (to cheer him up) or Ketamin (to sedate the hell outta him!)

Exactly. But had it kicked off, my mate who was with me is brown belt in Kickboxing, and had been doing weapons training too..... so this would have been oe bully that was well and truely learned a lesson!!!

oi
i was there for legitimate reasons....

My mate wanted to look at the stereos for his new 206 GTi 180, and I was looking at the tool chests.

But we did go and look at the 2 Fast 2 Spurious stickers!!!

Unfortunately I must admit I have a short temper.

Had that happened to me I'd have been out of the car in a flash while he was taking his coat off, that would **** him up and give me a head start!

(Breath in...............Breath out)

Ok I'm calm again.

Or what I have done in the past is park on the road bit next to his car and block the car in, take your time and if he's there when you come back just tell him you would have parked in one of the spots he'd parked in if he wasn't taking all of them!

He sounds an intelligent one aswell, esp if he can only manage the one sentance. Probably been schooled at home so while he was saying "You got a f*****g problem?" he was really meaning "Excuse me please sir but, can I trouble you for the time?".

(Ah, I feel much better, had to let a little rage go after Rangers absolutely ***** performance last night)

to get in this fight is risky.. I wouldn't do it, just for my car!
You never know if he'd damage it in some way(maybe he'd run and throw a rock, kick it when you slip and fall over the s**t that just came out of his mouth, etc...)

I care too much about the car(too much money invested) to risk it.

My option would be to park the car 2 streets down, and then return to open up a can..

(Speedlaw's site is great  )

or just let it be.. guys like this aren't worth the effort

The worst thing about it is the fact he has two kids in the back of his car and in ten years time they'll be just his image. should have gone into halfords and bought him some nice neon splat stickers to put over the dents and rust patches, seems to be a popular mod on fords........
