Brakes help

hello guy's I'm thinking of dropping a mk3 GT engine in my Mk2 84 sqaureback. just wondering what size wheels I can run with G40 or VwII Brakes? I'm on my 13 X 5.5 winter wheels at the moment, but I have some 14X6 Revolutions to go on. et 30 I think. cheers for the help.

the G40 is fitted with 13" bbs's. i have also had fitted to my G40 some steelies from a 1litre mk5 polo and they also cleared no problem. i would say the 14x6's would fit no problem but it depends on your offset! other than that, just try and hope! if they do interfeer, you may have to add some spacers.

Your brake set up will fit an rim from 13" upwards....it's only
when you fit bigger calipers and discs that you start
to get problems...the bigger the brake upgrade...the bigger
the rim you have to put on...
