MK7 TDI 130 Info

Post by emzino »

Hi all. I was thinking about the MK7 TDI 130 Sport but not able to find out any real reviews on it. Also, I believe they stopped making them but there out there somewhere lol.

Nevertheless, I wanted to ask some questions on these:
-Are they worth the money?-
-How has your driving experience been?
-Any problems as of yet or anything that are annoying?
-Engine wise, is it powerful? Does it have alot of potential?
-How expensive is it 2nd hand?
-How does it differ from the 9n GT TDI 130?

Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Kind regards,

Em

They were not that worth their money when new. Veedubally's 130 was around £16k after a few extras.
2nd hand its around the £12k mark
its the same as the GT i believe, just without the GT badge as that was mk6 exclusive.

cant answer the rest lol

Hmm I see.

Ok if you had to choose between the following, which would you choose (money aside):

1) Skoda Fabia vRS
2) MK6 Polo GT TDI 130
3) MK7 Polo TDI 130 Sport

Why don't you just go to a dealership and test drive them for yourself to see what you think of the cars rather than choosing a car based on other people opinions :?:

The dealers don't have the GT. Can't find that car anywhere, not even on autotrader.
The TDI 130 is about 30miles from me. I'm defo gonna go see it but probably the week after next, abit snowed under at uni.

Just thought i'd hear out others opinions on the choices and see where to go from there.

Gonna get looking again... Shoulda had a look at that MK7 TDI130 when I had the chance, darn :?

GTs are rare which is the upside. but not for much more money the Mk7 is in range and it looks good:). There are GTs in autotrader, you just have to go a bit further.

If i had the choice, i would go mk7 130. :)

I agree, not for much more money you do get the same engine but better exterior looks.
I think the 9n looks unique tho with the circle eyes, I absolutely love it! but I think i'll save towards the MK7.

I might go and have a look at the GT's that you posted speedsix. Thanks for the links by the way, appreciate your time :)

I'll get back to you all as soon as I actually buy something

Big thank you's to all of you for your inputs :)
