mk3 golf front seats fit straight in
and i presume skoda fabia seats fit in but dont hold me to that!
i just put a set of seat ibiza cupra seats in mine with hieght adjusters love them!!! and i got a full set front and back that fit straight in!!!!
I think you might struggle adapting a Golf mk4 rear bench to get it into the Polo. The front seats will go in but only with some considerable modification. Check out this thread on Club Lupo made by a user who fitted mk4 Golf Recaros to his Lupo
Yes, the GTi seats are adjustable there is a small lever on the "in-side" of the seat, by which I mean the side of the seat that faces into the car... so on the driver's seat it would be on the left.
The MK4 golf front seats will go straight in but the rears wont as the metal brackets that the rear seat secures into is totally different. The MK4 golf brackets need to be welded in. I know this because my mate has them in his Polo GTI
