Well guys finally got round into fitting on my Induction kit. Its and BMC CDA. It was quite easy to install, but havent yet installed a cold air feed because it aint enough room for it at the moment for where it is placed. but i have a few issues with my car when installing this induction kit. when installed i took it out for a spin the problem was that my car didnt feel right, its like lost all the low end power. i believe my car wasnt boosting. sometimes its boosts and sometimes it doesnt i think its to do with the maf sensor correct me if im wrongs heres a few pics.

First of all, nice car, I like the choice of your alloys, nice colour, just a nice 9n3.![]()
What I wanted to ask, what was your motivation to put the bmc airbox ?

with the original setup you used to have an OEM cold air induction kit, now that you haven't installed an air feed it's acceptable that you lost some amount of torque. you are sucking in the hot air of the engine compartment instead of the cool outside air. once you sort the piping you will see an improvement.
good choice of intake, by the way

Superb looking motor like everything you have done lose the chrome strip though it makes the car look like a vauxhall and it can only damage that lovely paint work ultimately. Sorry but thats my honest opinion.Ray_chan wrote:Heres a better veiw of the chrome strip u wanted dino. i bought it from ebay. think it only costed me £9 pounds max well worth its money as it makes the rear look so much better!.Cheers for the photo shop guys! i will do the tints and they only be light as i dont like the dark at all.dino wrote:Looks awesome - any pictures of the rear just to see the chrome boot strip?
