Had my 1.4 TDi remapped at Jabbasport today
Mate, your TDi should push out a lot more bhp & torque than mine if it's re-mapped with the exhaust & filter onway_z wrote:man i can't stop thinkin about the possibilities once i get this done, i've got an exhaust and induction kit too! but i have got slightly bigger wheels..
Don't worry about the bigger wheels unless they're stupidly huge or really heavy
I'm too old for all that, mate. Plus, I'd probably fry my clutch & I need my car for the daily commuteway_z wrote:freakyeke... get your car down santa pod with another 6n2 GTi!!![]()

Aint got my polo anymore - upgraded to a Mk4 Golf 1.9 TDI PD 100bhp, so naturally i read into remaps etc.
ChippedUK - chippeduk.com quoted me £275 for remapping to 140-150bhp!!! They have outlets all over the place, and the Jayson is a really nice chap.
He said i could get more but would need a new clutch.
You dont get nearly as much power increase in the petrol engines, the biggest benefit is for the TDI PD engines...
If you go on the tuning section of uk-mkivs.net, you can get a load more info on engine remapping and Jayson from chippeduk is a member on there so you can ask him yourself about it.
