I learnt that one the hard way over the weekend.
My girlfriend has a Polo E 9N 1.9sdi

Obviousley being the E it has no rear speakers, so i decided to wire some up..... unit i get to the head unit to find there are no outputs for them!!!

Rubbish!! lol

Just one more thing... i've searched the forum but i didn't find any topic talking about the "Ipod Kit"... i don't even know how does it looks like, or how to install one...

can you indicate me a topic with that information please? :wink:

It works by emulating your iPod as a CD Changer to the head unit.
Your first 6 play lists on your ipod are in theory your 6 cd's.

It plugs into the CD changer socket they the cable that attaches to the ipod is stored in the glove box.

Nice explanation...tks! probably i'm going to buy one of those adaptors. i have to change cd's all the time, it really sucks...

Please note, it replaces the CD Changer,
You cannot use both together.....

Its either one or the other sadly.

Hope that is still ok!!

Yes, i know- I don't have cd changer, so there is no problem. :wink:

I installed one in my 9n a few months ago now, so if you get stuck or need any help just give me a PM ;)

Should the rattle and loose door sill be covered by waranty as i have the exact same problem but cant afford to get it sorted unless its covered by waranty

I see it as a manufacture defect, so yeh, should be covered by warranty?

Yes, the warranty cover it. I've had a similar problem in my 9n, i took the car to the VW and they resolved the problem...not at first, but at the second time that i went there... It cost me 0€...

Grrr my rear speaker on the passengers side looks / sounds like it has fallen out!!

When i look through the grill i can just see a wire!
