The GTi '07

Ive got some pictures of my car that i thought i'd share....

Firstly...Stealth 8)

From the back

Got some new rubber all round that was desperatly needed.

apologies for the fuzzy pic....they set the PSI at 40 all round...felt like my car was on stilts!

So now...which do you prefer? i've took the front GTi badge off the front for the time being till i decide what to do with it...wether to match my rear badge or not.

Do i have it like this (and a sprayed black GTi badge on the front)
Image

Or like this...and have the front GTi badge sprayed back (this would match the rear of the car obviously)

Pretty certain I'll be getting a black VW badge on the back soon anyways to match...we'll see

The end.

What new rubber did you choose Chris, sticking with the Avons? My local tyre supplier asks me what psi I want before I leave the keys with them 8)

Nah didn't stick with Avon, 3 needed changing so i thought i'd just get them all done and try another brand out (was going to try the toyo route but they were too expensive and needed to order them in, and ive got no time to wait at the moment)

I chose "semperit" made my continental, supposed to be better than the avons so we'll see when i've had a good chance to test them out.

I use Semperits on my VR6 and Polo. No complaints at all plus they last well and are really good in the wet. They have a lifetime damage guarantee as well :D

I quite like the black GTI badge on the grille, looks great.

How about silver GTI on the rear for a silver car ;)

IMO Silver VW badges look much better.

I have a genuine black front and black rear one if you want it?

Same here - I think it very much depends on the colour of the car, but I think the silver badge just gives that contrasting edge :)

Cheers,

It's only my opinion but I think go for black VW badges front & rear but then loose the gti badges totally. Completely different to what everyone else has done 8)

I am swaying back to the more traditional chrome badges, but i want to totally complete my black/red theme before i change it all back for a different styling route
