1.9 DIY turbo
is it possible/practical to turbocharge my non turbo low mileage 1.9 diesel, if so which parts do i need to source ?
Hi mate,
First of all, I''m completely clueless on this, but I didn't want to leave you hanging here.
I'm pretty confident it can be done, with a lot of custom work - the TDI's out of the Stationwagon would be an alternative I guess, even though you'd need custom engine mounts to fit them. I'm also worried about the size of those engines, especially the height. Ergo - 'anything can be done'. If it's worth it in the end is something else...
FWIW, there is a Belgian Lupo 1.7 SDI running with a custom made turbo setup... Perhaps a performance specialist can help you out further.
