Boot lid open light on dash, today

Post by liviococcia »

Just a quick question, today there was quite a bit of snow, i cleaned off what was on the windows, and after driving off, up on the dash came the boot lid light, even though it was closed, and locked.

This has happened before, when the rear washer tube was off the rear wiper motor, so water was getting onto the swicth in the boot latch, but how did the snow get to this switch this time, is it possible that all the snow below the frount windscreen between the bulk head and the bonnet (the space where the wipers are) got through to something electrical in this section.

Did anyone get the same experiance today?

regards
