Nice mod. Also like the wheels My wife has a black 'S 'with the 'Sport 'wheels. I think the grille would therefore suit. I would like to remove the GTI badge though. Is it easily removed and once removed does it expose any gap in the grille pattern. How much was the grille (if you don't mind me asking).

well i like my car n how it looks n to me thats all that matters.... as for council house spec...i wouldnt know.... i dont live anywhere near one

Exactly, do what you want, its beautiful the way you like it. Its your car, and you can put on V8 stickers if you want.

Nice grille, but there should be a 1.8 Turbo engine behind it. IMO

just get a gti if you want that grill, it comes free with the car and all the other gti extras ;)

would look better without the badge on the base spec model

Jeff GTi... Im happy with my car and the way it looks.... after all as someones already stated, its my car and i'll do what i want to it. There are cars out there that are modified alot worse than mine
