BBS Alloys

looking at getting a set of BBS alloys, and seen some in my local paper, as follows
BBS 6 1/2J x 16" ET45, 4 stud pattern for VW.

would that work on a Mk4, (i know nothing at all about wheel sizes etc) cheers for any guidence... :oops:

yeah they sound ok, might need lower profile tyres though, depends what they are coming off :? And you might get some scraping on the arches but might not be bad because they're 6 1/2's, best to go see them and try them on

Sound like Golf Cabrio wheels to me. Should be a straight fit, if you run 195-40-16 tyres.

So basically, what Col said.

think i will as they are going quite cheap, around about £250 for set of 4 (minus tires but still quite a good deal)

info on them :

A set of four BBS 6 1/2J x 16" ET45, 4 stud pattern for VW. All wheels come with centre caps. These wheels were previously refurbished by me but have since had light use. None of the rims have any kerb damage and all wheel are straight.

.... thinking thinking.... what do they do when they refurb. them? does this mean that they have been marked or something in some way previously?

might have had some water staining around the bolts

he could have just got rid of some salt corrosion - re-laquered perhaps? Why don't you ask? Nothing to lose!
